From 15 March 2021 the new disclosure regime will require progressive disclosure, and for all Financial Advice Providers (FAPs) and advisers to fully disclose remuneration as well as any conflicts of interest related to the advice they provide.
Strategi has published ‘New Disclosure Requirements for Financial Advice Providers’ to help FAPs and advisers get to grips with the impending changes. This free to download guidance note steps you through the four situations where disclosure must be made under the progressive disclosure regime, and what needs to be disclosed at each stage.

Correctly registering an adviser business and the AFAs and RFAs working within it on the Financial Service Providers Register (FSPR) is one of the most basic and fundamental of compliance requirements.
